The Manningham Concert Band starts this year, our 50th year, with a very enjoyable selection of pieces. Enjoyable for both you the audience, and for the players.
A mix of classic, contemporary and movie themes along with two unique soloists. We are featuring Sibelius’ Finlandia, one of the true wonders of the musical world, music from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (the beloved original), our Timpani, and a guest soloist taking us on a smooth journey with a surprise wind instrument that fits a Concert Band very well.
As an additional feature, we have a fun interactive competition for you which takes place during the concert. There is no additional charge and you can be sure the prize will be simply fab!
